After ClimateGate comes another major blow for the (religious) institution called 'Science': the Nobel Prize Award for a war apologist. [link]

How low can it get before the 'scientific community' wakes up and defends its own integrity?

As far as Afghanistan goes: see [link] and [link]

"In 2007, Afghanistan supplied 93% of the world's opium, according to the U.S. State Department. Illicit poppy production, meanwhile, brings $4 billion into Afghanistan, or more than half the country’s total economy of $7.5 billion, according to the United Nations Office of Drug Control (UNODC)."

Congrats to all the nations who help Obama to continue this scheme, including the Germans [link] who really should know better. Oh well...

On the bright side, there's sun out there, the first time in some weeks, maybe we'll have a bit of summer coming down to Brazil after all :)

It's business as usual for the US Military-Industrial complex. As for the Political-Scientific-Environmental complex, it is now apparent that they "cooked the books" by adjusting the "data" to show warming where there was not any.

As for your sunshine, you're welcome. We sent our sunshine south to you for the winter. Have had rain and snow here in LaLaLand.

Well said, they "cooked the books'. And they not done yet, they be cooking the books all the way to the bank.

There are a lot of issues right now that stink bad. Climate treaty one among many. Health care reform being right in there. Sovereignty and immigration, the FED and the IRS. They could try labeling me as tax protester except there's one problem. I don't make any money. Likewise if you criticize Obama then you face being labeled a racist. Spin spin the big wheel goes round and round. The ruling class wants the people to keep their eye on the ball, so they can pull some stinky stuff while the peoples are looking the other way. Seems transparency has become against the law. The fluoride in the water must be working 'cos we got some peaceful people around here. Politicians can seal their college records and hide their birth certificates. Political-Scientific-Environmental complex can conspire in secrecy. And all this accepted as the norm.
